The design of the Sea Angel was inspired by John Fluevog's boat, a restored 1930's Sea Eagle. The distinctly curved toe ridge along the centre line references the keel and bow of the boat.
The construction of the shoe is Blake-flex stitched with a rubber sole that emphasizes the last shape, while providing more flexibility and comfort than a traditional dress shoe.
Many of the Sea Angel upper designs feature custom-designed metal hardware. The rubber sole and heel lift feature custom embossed graphics.
